I have done the same. What I couldn't do was select an extra strap and ad the to favourites
You got to go into the settings on your Apple Store account and follow the prompts.

Yep, no way I'm missing out on something I've anticipated and been excited for a very long time.
I remember that, good times. Excited for the watch launch, Mac Rumors should be on Fire!
Also read somewheres to initially order the watch you want then on a separate order order additional bands. Don't want any chance for a band to hold up the watch.
If using a CC and the shipping address is different than the billing address, inform the CC company so they don't think it may be potential fraud and kill your payment to Apple.

Can't seem to enable on the app, did it on line but the buy now button doesn't show up.

Does this really happen?
The only thing I've really learned from pre-ordering, which has sort of already been addressed, is having both the website and the Apple Store app open. If it crashes like it did for the iP6, the app is usually back up first, but I find the website to be quicker when ordering (for me personally).
I don't think the demand will be anywhere near as high as it was for the iP6/+ so I'm sure you'll be fine.

I think this won't be so bad like people have been saying, but you never know. I think a lot of people don't know what to make of it yet. Its also costlier than the iPhone (its not really, but most people think that iPhones cost $199 because they don't understand money). I'm sure the most popular will be the Apple Sport. But I'm sure Apple knows that and is producing them accordingly.
