Take the camera you used for the pics, and set it on top of the iPad. Does the image displayed on the camera look like the image of your iPad? Ordinary cameras will not render an accurate image. I took a pic of my keyboard after seeing your keyboard, and the camera display and actual keyboard look different. These screens do not have a 100% uniform screen, but the ones I've seen are as close as I'll need.

Look for problems, and you will find something. ;)

Do you see the warm to cold transition on your keyboard?

Actually, the center looks coldest

If I'm looking for it, I can see the Q is slightly warmer than the P. In normal usage, I never notice it. The screen tint changes on the Airs my wife and I have. They are sometimes VERY uniform across the screen, and other times not so much.

Ours are probably similar.

I read a lot of PDFs . Until I started looking for it, I did not notice the left side is a bit warmer .

Here's a pic of a 16GB Air I received today from Staples with build week 41 (Oct) and serial# DMQLJD (FXCN-China). It actually looks pretty good in person, I can't see any yellowing or a vertical stripe on the LHS.

OP, you have some sort of a yellowish cast that is predominant on the left side of your screen...just look at the background behind the apple logo and compare it to the background behind the yahoo logo.

It's pretty obvious....I got that and it was terrible for reading books and magazines (90% of why I got the iPad air....needless to say, returned for a full refund....will try again in a few weeks...exchange is pointless....if I keep returning they'll be pissed off and so will I.)

Yours look pretty much the same to mine. Warmer left side on the keyboard.
