Any problems or potentiol problems with turning up the fan speed?

Are their any problems that could/would occur if the MB fans were turned up? How much should i turn it up? (using SMfancontrol, i think its called)

Long term? I don't think anyone knows yet.

Theoretically, I image you speed the fan's wear to the point of failure. But does increased fan speeds reduce the heat ware on your processor/innards? Maybe.
