That's my request. Pretty simple. What's the best solution out there? Basically I need something to edit fps and to move all the text a little bit (let's say, changing the start time, if that makes sense…).

TextEdit might work with SRT files quite well if you work in PLAIN TEXT mode (CMD+SHIFT+T).
And VLC Player can be used to play a subtitle with different parameters and such.
