I understand your frustration, having to press the Settings.app and then navigate your finger all the way up there to the first option is so hard.

Its much easier to just open a Folder and turn On/Off the feature.

I just saw the rumor that iOS 5.1 will have better Siri integration, one thing mentioned was turning on/off settings like this. I hope its true, that would be awesome to just tell Siri to turn airplane mode on for you.

Yeah, use those shortcuts that everyone has been recommending. There's a slight lag before it shows up. It opens a safari page first, then it goes to settings.

...Or you can exercise your fingers too the point where they are really, really, amazingly quick.

i think your sarcasm was bit too subtle for him. try being more obnoxious and over the top. it seems to work better on the forums
