hi everyone,

recently my original macbook hdd died.
it was hitachi 120GB 5400rpm one.

im thinking about getting 250GB and trying to avoid having the same problem.
so i was thinking, maybe avoid hitachi this time and get something else.

it will be very grateful if you could tell me which hdd has good values with a reasonable price.

thank you very much.. im looking forward to hear from you.
bye!

I think it was just bad luck with your hitachi. You can find someone with bad experience with any HD brand.
Anyway I got a Western Digital Scorpio with 320GB and I am very happy with it. It's also much faster than my previous Fujitsu with 100GB.

Another recommendation for the Western Digital 320GB - had one for about 3 months now - quit, cool and fast.
