Hello people, any ideas on which is the best electric shaver??

I am currently looking at the Norelco 9160XL SmartTouch-XL Men's Shaver.

Do you know any reputable retailers that have cheap prices and ship overseas to new zealand?

I also wonder if they provide NZ chargers... or will it not be compatible?

It appears to be the same no matter the country, both the Norelco 9160XL and Philishave HQ9160 are listed as 100-240V, so at worst you'll need one of those plug adapter thingies.

Why order internationally? Are shavers expensive in New Zealand? You would think, with all those sheep.....

Yer its expensive down here lol That model retails for NZ$450,amazon only sells em for US$129

Braun.

I usually use a blade, as it does a better job, but if I need to shave in the car/wherever/on business travel I use the Braun.

Any Braun with dual-foils/dual cutters. Unlike the Norelco/Phillips, they use a back-and-forth motion, so you shave with/against the grain of the hair, not around in circles.

I'm very happy with my Panasonic shaver. Somehow the last two panasonic shavers I've had seem better than my previous Braun and Philips shavers at shaving hair growth under my jaw line.
