Hi there

Really stuck, my macbook pro has a damaged keyboard and need to upgrade ram and harddrive - I got a good quote from a company in USA but did a review search on them and they are seemingly cowboys...

I live in Ireland but would happily buy good hardware anywhere, I am ok with fitting the stuff ( I think )

Hope someone can give me a recommendation of a place to buy; my macbook pro is about 6 years old...

many thanks

Nicola

Find the specific part numbers/names and just go on newegg.com, amazon.com, tigerdirect.com or ebay.com and search up those parts

Due to the old standards on the parts in such an old computer, you would probably be better off buying a newish used computer instead.

Buying used parts is risky due to the fact that it might or might not work, and also might die shortly after you fit it.

Thanks everyone, found a keyboard on ebay so just waiting its arrival🙂 may just upgrade the ram and leave everything else as it is!!

all the best
