No scratches but I have screen protector on since I got the phone and I change it from time to time :)

I thought my screen was spotless, but under very bright sunlight and certain angles, you can see some small scratches.

Yeah, that's the case for me too. It looks pristine if you just glance it and in normal usage (which is ultimately what matters). But there is definitely a slight hairline scratch on the bottom right if light hits it at the right angle. Non issue for me.

And there is the problem for the OCD screen protector crowd. They aren't talking about scratches that a NORMAL user would notice or care about... nope... it's all about the teeny tiny scratches that if you hold the phone a certain way, in the right lighting, and look really hard, you could notice some of the time if the screen is off.

And thus a million dollar industry has evolved "protecting" the screen that (unless you drop it, in which case good luck even with a "protector"... or are just completely careless with your phone (and some people are, but they are usually the folks that could care less about cosmetic damage, so good for them)) there is NO need for.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If people would save the money they spend on screen protectors, cases, wraps, etc... and just dedicate a pocket for their phone and nothing else, they will 99% of the time come out AHEAD financially. And yes, if you are in the 1% that is clumsy and has hooks for hands (cool, but I digress...), buy AppleCare+. You can STILL go naked and enjoy the phone as Apple intended.

As someone who hasn't used a case in almost 3 years now, I can wholeheartedly say that it is 100% a myth that you need a screen protector or case. Period.

If you are still OCD enough to lose sleep over what (almost everyone else agrees) can only be seen under the right circumstances, in the right lighting, looking very hard for them then sure, knock yourself out, but stop kidding yourself that it has anything to do with "resale". It doesn't. Not saying people shouldn't use them if their emotional state needs it, just that they're kidding themselves when it comes to the reason they do.

I peeled my one and only screen protector when it started to bubble. I purchased a replacement SP and couldn't apply it correctly. I returned it and decided to not protect it with a SP. I do, however, use a sleeve, but not a case.

No screen protector on my space grey 5s, and there are no scratches on it at all.

I slap a screen protector on all my mobiles before I even leave the store! If you get a good one and put it on properly you cannot even tell it's there. Zero bubbles on mine, perfectly aligned. I'm so fanatical about no marks or scuffs on my screen I've become a pro at installing screen protectors. When the 5s launched and I was in the Apple Store getting mine I even installed a couple for other new owners, with the blessing of the Apple Store reps. Yeah, I'm that good. :D

My iPhone 5 (not 5S) has a perfect screen and I do not use a screen protector. I keep a thin plastic case on it, but that's purely for aesthetics. I know it won't help should I drop it.

No scratches here. I go back and forth using a scree protector and not using one. I have the Invisashield now and totally hate it so will probably come off.

Yes, and I had mine for only a month. I also got my mom one, and she has scratches. I had a 4s for over 2 years and had no scratches at all, I don't understand what happened. Anyway, I now have a screen protector on it.
