Wow, I hope not. I ordered mine under a retired military discount so, if they're prioritizing in that manner (I don't see any evidence to believe they are), I'd possibly be in that proverbial boat as well.

To help us keep track of each other's Mac Pro pre-orders, I've set up a Google Docs spreadsheet which we can all enter our order details in. I've seen this done successfully on the MacRumors forums before ahead of other product launches (e.g. 1st gen rMBP) but thought I'd take the initiative to set one up myself this time.
