Yes, I'm not planning on using it for everyday workouts - that was just an extreme use case to test the idea since the band hasn't been out very long In tropical weather where everyday is 90 degrees, sweat is unavoidable!
I found it interesting that in the Sport Loops, they have used Nylon (which doesn't absorb oils and very little water) - hence making this less of an issue.
For the Braided Solo Loop, they have used polyester which is softer (I think) but basically an oil sponge (including body oils which have odors). They market it as sweat-resistant and water-resistant... I wonder if it's just a treatment they put on and how long that will last.
Yep, mine has started smelling and I will be returning it. I have been unable to remove the odour. This is something I would have thought Apple would have figured out.Hi folks, for people working out and sweating into their Braided Solo Loop, are you getting any smell afterwards once it dries?
(e.g., the gross dry sweat smell that can form on workout clothes if not washed/dried properly...)

It is a huge shame as the band is incredibly comfortable and sleek. Great for working out.
I wash it with hand soap. And guess what, just like other stuff made out of fabric, you can throw it in the washing machine. It will even shrink back a little (if it has loosened).
I wash it with hand soap.
also don’t like the metallic part to be turned around in the washing machine at high speeds.
