Any Software on Mac for designing magazine ads?

i looking to design an ad for newpapers and magazine use. i know pages has some nifty templates for brochures etc but none for mag and newspaper ads.

does anyone know of of applications i could look into that would contain some templates for successful newpaper or magazine advertising?

You just need to learn to use Adobe InDesign or Quark Xpress.
You can make any page look any way you want to.
If you need to use templates, whats the point! BE CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE! Thats what mac is all about.

They also used to have a subscription service for ad templates and ad clip art - I don't see that on their site now though. You can also look for magazines and books of advertising clip art - Metro Image Base was another, Dover has published umpteen books and CDs of advertising art
