Any solution to the tap-to-click delay when dragging is enabled?

Hi!

I've been searching the forums and the internet to see if any solutions to the 1/4 second delay when tapping to click on the new unibody macbooks when dragging is enabled has come up?

I have to keep dragging disabled. The delay is too annoying.

I haven't found anything yet...and it's SO annoying. Everywhere I go, I'm told it's a "feature". But it's not! it's a design and usability flaw.

I got laughed at. Ridiculous.
I spoke with an Apple expert, got basically told that I had to suck it up and that the computer has to process my single click. ********. My eee does this perfectly.
I sent a bug report to apple, no reply yet.
I emailed steve jobs, no reply yet.

I want to use this computer but I can't!!!😡
