Any solution to this problem with the Dock?

Hello everyone,

I have a base 13" mba from 2012 and until the moment it has worked flawessly. Normally I used it connected to an external monitor when I am at home. Today the dock looks like in the attached picture....I have tried to reboot it, with and without the external monitor and it is still like this 🙁

Any solution?

Did you do a complete shutdown or just a reboot? Try a full shutdown if you haven't already.

Funky! Looks like the cat got on the dock and knocked out icons.

Obviously a corruption of some sort. Do an hardware test see what is says. If other menus/screen OK most likely not hardware.

If software u may have to re-install OS.
