Any Subaru owners?

I drive a 2013 BRZ, and iOS broke compatibility with the stock touchscreen headunit. Plugging in an iOS 8 equipped iPhone results in the headunit entering a boot loop until you unplug the phone. Anyone else experiencing this?

Posted in a similar thread here, but I drive a 2012 Prius, had the exact same problem this morning.
