I am not worrying about it... if there is any need for upgrades. I'll just go get the physical disks. If that is what the OP is talking about a new version of one of the Mac systems. My macbook pro is almost two years old. I love it, the only time it has given me problems is just a few months ago. Nothing that didn't have a logical explanation and a simple do-at-home fix. (trackpad reset and a cooling fan issue.)

My only concern is that it survives my niece who tends to hit a lot.
