any surveys on reliability of macbook pro

Hi there

I'm wanting to know if anybody is aware of Apple making any written statements re the length of time (1) they expect a macbook pro battery to last compared with other macbooks. (2) the macbook pro to display to operate trouble-free.

Is anybody aware of any actual surveys done o the above topics?
