For the longest time, I had ASUupdatehider, which allowed me to swipe and hide app updates that I didn't want to update. Is there anything similar for iOS 8.1 that will let me do this? The tweak hasn't been updated yet for 8.1

    Thanks!

ASUpdateHider recently got an update for iOS 8. Can't tell if it works, though.
AppInfo does it for me. Find the link to dl the iOS 8 compatible beta on the devs twitter

Issue... I installed ASUpdatehider (previously purchased for iOS 7, so it was free), and when I launch App Store, then press the "Updates" tab, App Store Crashes... totally defeating the purpose of having the tweak. I uninstalled it and the updates tab works fine.

The only thing I can suggest is to go with AppInfo. Does it for me on iOS 8.1.2 (and is a free tweak).

I'll give it a whirl. Is it in any repo yet or do I need to install through the beta deb on the twitter?

Currently only available from the twitter link. The dev has not yet released it on BigBoss (or any other official repo).

Turn off "hide recent updates" in the settings pane and AS will stop crashing. My iPhone 6 doesn't crash with that enabled, but my iPad Air 2 does.

Both my iPad Retina Mini and my iPhone 6 crash regardless of that setting enabled or not. :-(

Darn I want it to work!

I installed the deb, it shows as installed in cydia, but there's nothing in settings for AppInfo, nor is there anything on my springboard for it. How do I actually get into it?

Did you reboot your device after installation?
AppInfo does not appear in the settings but adds an icon to your homescreen.

Yeah, which is what's weird, it didn't appear as an app on the home screen nor in settings. However when I go into Cydia it shows as installed.

Try to reboot again. I've experienced some tweaks manually installed require to reboot the device twice before starting to work.

Do you have AppSync installed? If so, remove it and respring. AppSync is reported by some to prevent Cydia apps from appearing on the homescreen after installation. AppSync can be re-installed afterwards.

Nope. I even tried installing it from desktop via ssh and no avail. Seems like others having the same issue based on twitter responses.
