I wanna know too! I see from this thread that alot of people are using it but i don't see the allure.

Same, but I had to be forced into Facebook also. It seems juvinile to me. Maybe I'm getting old. I don't want people bugging me, much less stalking.

If you cultivate the list of people you follow, you'll actually find that it does some pretty interesting news, bits of information of interest, and some entertainment across your browser.

Completely agree! Twitter is a great way to connect with people that are like minded in the kind of work you do and extracurricular activities. Some posts may be irrelevant to you, but others might include great URLs, info on a subject, etc etc. I was skeptical of twitter for the longest time, got on it a few weeks back and can't stop.

Bridging twitter to facebook is even better, allows you to update facebook status without having to load facebook. Now i can annoy all my old college friends with design and bike related info.

Getting my iPhone tomorrow and have been an iTouch user for a month now. Avid twitter user and always looking for new people. My twitter ID is "Mortagon".

Also if you happen to play WoW or be a gamer, thats a plus, heh.
