I keep reading about the US getting price reductions on the Watch. Are any shops discounting the watch in the UK?

Doubt it, we are always ripped off over here on apple gear compared to the US. I picked up a 42mm sport over there last month £70 cheaper than here. The GF picked up an ipad mini2 in walmart for £127!

I just paid £29.00 yesterday for spare charger at JLP Chester and £1.00 for a 'reporter note book' so 'click & collect' was free (for £30.00 purchases).

I didn't buy the excellent 'folding pins' charger at £25.00 but if I had-

    £29.00 + £25.00 = £54.00

2 year FREE guarantee worth say £25.00 approx.

    Total £79.00

So 42mm sport watch on its own £210.00 (if you wanted a spare charger and cable while away at Christmas and a great gift for you partner).

    Outstanding value for UK!
plus 30 day no quibble return.
    Great Christmas gift. JLP.

Wife got me a Space Black for £425 brand new off ebay. Even came in the proper Apple retail packaging with the pull tabs and such. That watch is £519 from Apple direct.

I had a Stainless Steel one with Leather Classic Buckle from Apple in July which I returned as I didn't like it that much and the one my wife got me from ebay came in identical packaging so if you wanna try your luck check out ebay, lots of good deals going on there from what we've seen.

I'm aiming to get the Apple Watch 2 when it arrives so £249 in the meantime is reasonable. JL good value.

Yes £249 for the 38mm excellent value (I shouldn't always think 42mm as the 38mm is great too).

I really hope apple keep the charger and strap "lugs" compatable with Apple Watch 2. I'll be very miffed otherwise.
