Just curious if there were any updates regarding the lack of firewire on the new Macbooks.

I know the new MB Pros have firewire, but I had heard a few months back talk about adapters.

    Any luck yet?

It's not going to happen. You're stuck with no FireWire.

I had read an article about getting it through the ethernet port with an adapter...

    Blast.

The white macbooks have firewire. The new MacBook pros all have firewire. Only the older unibody macbooks lack firewire.

AFAIK, there are no adapters to make it really work.
