In TextEdit ap on my iPod Touch, I can save new Texts, but I cannot delete them. Is there anyway to do this? Seems pretty stupid that you wouldn't be able to.

How to delete a file on your iPod Touch

In TextEdit ap on my iPod Touch, I can save new Texts, but I cannot delete them.

Yes, install the MobileFinder (which requires the BSD Subsystem also). You can delete a file in the 'file' menu at the bottom of the screen once you have selected the item you want to delete.
