Nope... though they used to let you, but the feature ended up being abused and subsequently removed.

Perhaps if you reported yourself a mod would drop it.
You could always roll the dice and edit profanity into it and then report yourself. Don't know and don't recommend the latter.

If you want one of your posts or threads deleted just report it and a mod will usually get on it pretty quickly.

Hmmm ... I wonder how someone could possibly abuse that?

Well, to be brief, a member, though I forgot his name, used to create rather popular threads around here, most getting quite a lot of posts. He would then delete them after a while and everyone's post count would go down. Not to mention that it never hurts to keep threads around for future reference.

That does suck, but I wonder ... Why is post count so important to everyone? Do people really need the titles to feel better about themselves

The only places where post count is important is to reach the minimum that allows you to have an avatar for example. Or to post in the market place.

Still seems kind of juvenile to me. I wouldn't mind being a newbie forever, haha. I just enjoy contributing on here too much. haha

It's quite important to some folk for some reason, but I would have thought the scenario described above would be more annoying if you'd taken the time to respond to a thread with a couple of posts, and your contributions are then deleted purely out of spite for the OP's amusement.
