is there any hack to disable the fading in/out animation on iphone when you close or open an application?

is there something we can edit so there is no animation, it will make the iphone FEELS faster. you know, just like the feeling you had when you are using windows xp with no animation of drop down or right click menu.

i know it's a silly question, just for the heck of it!

what i mean is just like this trick in win xp..

I'm guessing you are referring to the paid app in the App store?

Don't really want to pay for it just to see the proof of concept, but maybe it's an App specific setting.

Hmm, wish there was a way to disable it for all Apps across the board.

The opening animation is there to distract you from the application's load time. Without it when you press on an icon and there will be a second (or more if its a big app) lag before anything happens.

Add Camera to kirake's favorites and turn off animations. Now launch Camera regularly and with k. There is a noticeable lag before the app launches.
