It’s driving me crazy that the iCloud section of Settings for my iPhone 11 Pro shows that my iMac is running Mojave when it’s been running Catalina for months.

Any idea how to “force” iCloud to update the glyph? Obviously not a big deal...just an OCD trigger.

Have you tried removing it from your iCloud account and signing back in? Maybe that’ll fix it.

Yeah I was thinking about giving that a shot. Catalina has been kind of a nightmare for me so I figured I’d check first to see if anyone had any others ideas. Thanks!

After checking I realised I have the same issue. This was taken on my MacBook running Catalina but it shows up with the same backgrounds on my iPhone running iOS 13.3.1. It might just be something Apple forgot to change.

Actually, I made mention of this issue a month or so ago in another thread (no clue which one) and someone posted a screen shot of their iPhone running whatever the current version of iOS was at the time, and it showed an accurate Catalina glyph.

I know that the iCloud section of iOS is notoriously slow to update (I’ve been on macOS 10.15.2 for weeks and it still shows that my Mac is running 10.15.1), so I’ll give it some more time.

If you're running a beta try reporting it through the Feedback app, that might fix it quicker for you.

Or, just don't go into the iCloud section. ;)

I’m getting the proper glyph on my MBP. Are you running beta or release macOS?

Currently running 13.3.1 beta, but was running the official 13.3 prior to this latest beta.

The proper Catalina glyph shows up in the Find My app (it switched from Mojave to Catalina with one of the beta releases from a few weeks back).

Also, the glyph shows Catalina when I check the iCloud settings on my iMac, so it’s only the iPhone where it shows up incorrectly.

I’m curious, is it showing the same or right glyph in Find My?

It shows the correct Catalina glyph in the Find My app.

For what it’s worth, it took a few weeks for the Find My app glyphs to reflect both AirPods Pro and a Catalina Mac.

Mine all have the appropriate wallpaper as well, just never bothered to look at the little details. What’s hilarious is if you have a Windows PC on your network, a Mac will show a monitor with the Blue Screen of Death on it.

Just checked and I also have the Mojave glyph even though I’m running Catalina.

Ha!

For those who have the incorrect Mac glyphs showing up...is anyone willing to remove the Mac from iCloud and then sign back in to see if it corrects the glyph?

I’d do it myself (and still might), but I’ve had so many issues with Catalina and it’s finally running properly so I’m afraid to mess with it.

Signed out of iCloud on my iMac and removed it from my account. Signed back in and the glyph still shows a Mojave Mac.

What. The. Hell.

To those who are seeing the *correct* Catalina glyph...when was the last time you restored your phone?

For anyone wondering, I did a factory reset and then set up the phone as new. Now the proper glyph appears for my Catalina iMac.
