I was trying to be cheap and get it for free like those who ordered on apple.com did.

I ordered my iPhone on apple.com and paid $29 for my bumper. I don't know of anyone who got one for free...

I got free overnight shipping on my bumper, I had to pay for the actual bumper.

I bought 2 (one for me, one for my mom) on Apple.com. Shipping is free for purchases over $50, but I paid $16 to get it on June 25th.

I'll simply go to the Apple store on the 24th and get one. If you're not purchasing an iPhone you will be able to simply walk in the store and make your purchase and leave. That's how it's been the past couple of years I've went.

good luck with that. i want to be nowhere near an apple store on any release date. also, from what i've seen on release dates cases are usually sold out quickly like the ipad case was for a few weeks.

Thanks guys/girls. For some reason I thought they were free if you pre-ordered on Apple.com.

I'll have to give them a look.
