Any way to get Camera+?

I missed it on the App Store, tried Install... and Cydia and they are not there. Is there a repo or somewhere else? Thanks!

I do plan on buying it but I wanted to get it when it had the volume button as the button to snap the pic. I tried Installous and it wasn't there. Guess Ima have to get it off of google and ssh. Just wanted an easier method but thanks anyway.

Just go into Rock/Cydia and download FastSnap, does the exact same thing for $0.99 in the default Camera app.

Camera + has a hidden feature called VolumeSnap. Visiting ”camplus://enablevolumesnap” into Safari on any iPhone loaded with Camera+ turns the volume buttons into shutter buttons.

Now I can't get even re-download it.
Does Apple give refunds for situations like this? Or am I screwed?

well if you know anyone who has the app, you could just get the regular .ipa file from them and sync it to your phone. When it asks whos app it is, just put in your user name and stuff. Heck, I still have Tris from the original iphone days and ive restored numerous times

Ahhh... Didn't think of that. It'll just hit itunes server and see that I already purchased and be all good..

I just read it was taken off Cydia. I don't use Rock so I'm waiting for SnapTap to be iPhone 4 compatible.

Didnt work. The .ipa is tied to the owner. Trying to install asks for the owner to authorize it. Sucks.
Hope Apple gives refunds.

It is in installous. I'm looking at it right now. I hope that I'm not labeled a pirate forever now, because I do use installous for non-piracy purposes( beta testing apps inside drop-box without messing with iTunes and provision files.)

SnapTap works just fine on my iPhone 4. Actually didn't buy it until after I had my i4. Got on Cydia, so no Rock needed.

No - trying to get an app that has a feature that Apple blocked isn't really the same as piracy. He isn't stealing the app as such - he'd pay for it if he could, but he can't. He wants to use the volume control to snap a photo, but Apple refuses.

This is the only way.

if you just want to use volume button to snap buy SnapTap from cydia, works on iphone 4

The version on Installous doesn't work, its an incorrect file size so stuff is definitely missing hence why it doesn't work. Glad I bought it from the AppStore when I did cause it was well worth the $2.
