Any way to load .mp4 from the camera connection kit interface??

I'm going on a long trip, and would like to store some movies on an SD card or something similar. I can't seem to find a way to load anything but jpegs using the camera connection kit. Has anyone found a solution to this??

Rename them to exactly 8 characters and drop them in the DCIM folder on the SD card. Then delete previously-viewed ones from your iPad to make room and import the new ones.

It took me awhile, but I finally got to try this with a Hyperdrive, and it worked great!! Thanks so much for the advice!

Can you JB? iFile works better and you don't need to import the files.
