Hello,

I work in a school and we have 90 iPod Touches that use for education and they are obviously legit and are not jailbroken.

I need to lock or hide the settings icon so that the students cant change any settings when they are using them!

Anybody got any ideas?

Adam

With a couple of minutes of playing around, the best I can see is setting up restrictions so they have limits on what they can modify.

Also, you could stuff the Settings icon into a folder to at least get it off the main screen.

My suggestion would be to provide Apple with feedback about what you want and why. Explaining how a change might help open a market for a current product line does get their attention.
