Any way to look at logs of text messages?

    Can't you just scroll back up and keep on hitting load older messages?

    a few months back and each press of load previous messages takes 7 seconds. Then it gets worse.

    Mine loads in about 2 seconds max seriously. I have texts back from 2007 with some people.

    Yeah, it becomes crazy, then if you get a text or a phone call you have to start all over.

    There are probably not as many of them.

    If you get software that reads the backup file, you can make a database file that you can read all the messages.

    Cool... so it can be done. 20$ is a bit ridiculous for that feature though.

    You can use iPhone Backup Extractor and SQLite Database Browser for free.
