The pressure required to click on the new mid-2015 Retina MacBook Pro is WAY to sensitive -- even when selecting the "firm" setting in the Trackpad control panel. Just moving the mouse sometimes causes a click!

Is there any hidden command line / terminal configuration / plist setting that could make the required pressure STRONGER?

You may have an issue with your track pad. I have mine on the default setting and have never accidently clicked while moving the mouse. When I tried it on a firmer setting it took a good bit of force. Double check that its still on the highest setting. If it is, take it to an Apple store and just compare it with the ones on display. Make a Genius appointment just in case, that way you don't have to leave and come back again.

Excellent suggestions -- this is what the Tier-2 Applecare specialist and I decided to do. Yesterday I had the local Genius look over the machine -- she indicated it was exactly like the others in the store, but also agreed that she had had similar problems with the new haptic trackpad. So now the Tier-2 is going to bump this up to engineering to see if there is indeed some way to adjust a plist setting to control the amount of force required for a "Firm" click.
