I got a Cocoa color silicone case for my iPhone. I love the look, but it is such a dust magnet. It even attracts dust to the black bezel of the phone.

i know this is a known quality of these cases, but is there something I can do to make it attract dust less? Sanding? Coating? Just use it and it will become less attractive to dust with wear?

thanks

Even after years of usage, it will still collect dust, that's the nature of silicone.
You could possibly try coating it with baby powder, but then I don't think you'll enjoy the feeling of the case.

The case will eventually build up natural oils and make it feel less silicone-ish, but it won't stop attracting lint. Make sure your clothes are clean.

It sucks. I too had to take off my silicone case due to dust and other particles (lint) that kept getting stuck to it which bothered me which is why I opted for the ? leather case which is dust/lint free.
