basically is there anything that will stop (temporarily) button press calling siri as when I play golf I don't want to take my watch off as it records my steps and ideally I want to use a golf app on it, but I have to move it further up my wrist as every time I swing a club my golf glove presses the button and siri asks me what I said.

Turn your watch the other way round for the game?

In settings you then choose your orientation

cheers, daftly I didnt realise you could turn the watch around and change the orientation. so one game I played with it upside down.

I wear mine on the left wrist and set the button on the left side. Change the orientation for this. It will stop the random button pushes when you bend your wrist. It also has the added benefit of if you put your arm up to your mouth it is directly facing the mic and speaker for a better conversation, that is until you can get the airpods in.

Cheers

Open watch app, click General, then Orientation. Left wrist left side or right wrist right side.

I’ve been left wrist left side since day two of my having an Apple Watch. (Started with S3, currently an S4).

You are my hero. I'm ashamed to admit, I've gone two years with my watch and not realized that option existed. My one and only complaint about the thing has always been that irritating accidental button push!
