Any Way to prevent "Find my iPhone" from being Turned off?

On MobileMe on the iPhone, is there any way to prevent the "find my iPhone" feature from being disabled...? Thanks

Put a pass code on your iPhone.

You can't really stop someone from turning it off in the settings or shutting the phone off, or removing the sim or restoring the phone thru iTunes.

my last phone was stolen, and mobileme was useless because the phone was turned off

I sent a remote wipe, and nothing happened

I assume it was turned off, restored to factory settings, and the new owner has no idea he has a stolen phone

test out find my phone to see it works

Also, if there is not cell signal, it doesn't work as you can't contact the phone to issue any commands (ie, remote wipe)

Or hope for a dumb thief that doesn't know any of that and decides to just use it like that🙂
