I am not quite sure how to word it. BUt here is what I need. I am selling my 15" Powerbook G4, i got a good amount on eBay. I am installing some legal apps, but not including the cd's. In order to install I had to go through the OSX setup process after I reinstalled. My question is, once the apps are installed is there any way to reset the setup, similar to wiping the settings of an ipod? So that the new owner can go through the registration and what not as if they had just purchased a new machine. Thanks a lot.
This hint on macosxhints.com tells you how. I don't know for sure that it works for Tiger, but I think it probably does. As an aside, it's generally not legal to sell a machine with commercial apps on it unless you include the CDs with the machine. You can't keep the software and sell it too.
