Any way to unlock the iPhone in Lock Screen to only see locked notifications?

Hey everyone,

when I get notifications on my iPhone on the Lock Screen, sometimes I only wanna see its content on the Lock Screen without unlocking the phone.
But when Face ID fails to identify me, these notifications won’t be unlocked. is there any way I can force the iPhone to scan my face again without turning the screen off or press on a notification (because this will jump into the app)

You can swipe up like you're going to unlock the device and it will attempt to scan again.

Not really. It will entitle unlock the phone then and bring me to the Home Screen

If you keep your finger on the screen as you swipe up you can swipe it back down after it unlocks to view the notifications.
