She decided that, for her, the 6 was too big to be hand-held and easily pocketable anyway, so why not go all the way? Gotta throw it in the purse either way
Lol, that's my reasoning, too. The iPhone 6 is already big that I won't be able to use it single-handedly. Might as well try if the bigger 6 Plus will work for me.

My wife has man-hands but I took her to AT&T today anyway so she could hold one and make sure that's what she wants. She's looking forward to her 6 Plus.

My wife (she's 5'8" BTW) didn't want anything to do with a 6+ thinking it'll be too big so I ordered a 6 for her and the 6+ for myself. After playing with both phones for about 10 minutes, she wants to trade me for my 6+! #
Long story short, the 6 is going back and another 6+ is on the way.
Like another poster said, "a happy wife makes a happy life!"

ladies, I'm finding huge success with the 'pinky balance' technique.

Anyone else balancing the 6 + on their pinky while attempting one-hand operations?

Wow totally didn't expect this to be a big hit with the ladies, especially with the 4.7 being a nice size already. I went to the Apple store and got some hands on with both of them starting first with the 6 which was very nice and sizable, very impressive, boy that screen is nice. Then I checked out the 5.5 and thought geez this thing is huge, but after a moment of playing with it it wasn't so bad, however I put my phones in my front pocket (you know being a guy and all) and although I know it would fit in my front pocket it would be very uncomfortable because of how huge it is.
Even after hands on I was thinking of passing on it until I started playing with/watching the videos of the 1080p with the stablizing feature and OH MY!! I think I may just have to cope with the size of the thing...

Haven't received mine yet but from playing with my Spigen case, I don't think it's possible for me. My hands are just about big enough to grip it securely but not much else. Mind, I'm 5'1" and have really small hands and short stubby fingers.

My wife has the 6 plus. I showed her the 6 at the store but she sayid she wasn't interested and would rather keep the 6 plus. She watches lots of movies on it and really likes it. I love mine too. The screen is glorious!.

I'll be getting it whenever stock is available. I find that I usually use 2 hands for typing and sometimes scrolling
But I can use 1 hand for the reference I am 5'11 thought so I don't have small hands lol.

Another lady with a 6+ here. My "size difference" shock had come last year going from an original HTC Touch (3" screen on a 4" tall device) to the Galaxy S4 (5" screen on a 5.5" device) for one of my lines. So the move from the ip4S to the ip6+ was not much different in a relative sense.

I am throwing it in my satchel bag where I carried my ipad.

Its easier on the eyes and makes web surfing much easier for the "smaller" size as a phone (more content on a page) without the bulk of the tablets like the regular ipads or minis.

I'm still waiting for my 6 Plus to arrive, but I have played with display ones many times already and it's perfect. I have average sized hands, and I can handle the phone just fine.

Female here also.... 5ft (if that). Got my 6 plus on launch day and do not regret it for a minute! LOVE it !!! I don't have to squint anymore, I don't make stupid typos cause my finger hit the wrong key (even better now using Swift Key) and I can actually watch Netflix now without being completely annoyed. I was at Target yesterday and they had the iPhone 6 on display (an actual phone and not a dummy, I was shocked) so I took mine out and compared them.... both beautiful but I definitely prefer my mine! :) Don't have a pic to show it in my hand (it goes from my wrist and lands dead even with my middle finger) but here's one of it laying on my MacBook Air.

Did you get the gold or silver I couldn't tell? And what case is that it's super cute looking.

Thanks! :) It's the gold 64gb.... since my iPhone is my main camera I had to take the pic with my iPad so the quality is not the best. But then depending on lighting sometimes I wonder myself cause I'll look at it and think it's silver like all my other iPhones have been. Either way I love it!

I'm 5 ft 1, small frame. I'm waiting for my Plus to be delivered but I've gone to the store to have a feel of both models. But even before I saw the phones in person, I knew I'd go for the Plus. I mainly use my phone for emails, texts, internet, watching videos and as a camera. I prefer using both hands when typing. I always carry it in a purse in its own compartment. Therefore, all the cons that most non-likers state don't apply to me. The Plus will be just perfect for me.

I love the bigger screen. I just keep it in my purse. So much better for the screen real estate. I'm about 5'3. I find a bigger screen so much better for web browsing, reading texts, bigger keyboard etc.

Emphasis on purse. For me, it wasn't so much using the larger phone that was an issue but it's pocketability. If I carried a purse, however, it might be a different story.

I am a woman. I'm 5'1 w/ small hands and I have an iPhone 6+. I have been debating whether or not the 6+ will work for me ultimately. I don't care about one handed use. I wear a suit at work everyday and I was used to throwing my 5 in my suit pocket (women's suit pockets are already very small). Now I have to consider carrying my phone (out of pocket) everywhere I go in the courthouse which is not convenient. I fear I may put it down some where and leave it. And if I leave it in my office I will miss it's use terribly.

I don't want to return the 6+ because using it is an awesome experience. But I am on the go a lot and I don't ALWAYS carry a purse (yep, not all women carry purses all the time). I could probably find a wristlet but I don't know if I want to carry a wristlet to court w/ me everyday. Decisions, decisions...

Hey all you guys that say their iphone is too big. Don't you feel sorry for yourselves now? lmao If you don't, well I do.

Yikes!

Actually, the one person I know who got a 6+ is a woman.

She decided that, for her, the 6 was too big to be hand-held and easily pocketable anyway, so why not go all the way? Gotta throw it in the purse either way

She thinks of it as her iPad Mini Mini.

This is exactly what my wife did also. She was using a 4s and loves the 6+.

I'm a woman and I'm 4'11...and i love my 6plus...i use it mostly to click pictures watching movies surfing net...and it feels pretty comfortable typing with both hands....got it on the launch day without even playing with 6... However i saw 6 in my att store and did not like it....every since i got it have not been able to put it down....i anyways carry my phone in my purse so it wasn't even an issue for me..!! It's super gorgeous!!

Looking for a small wristlet case for the iPhone 6 Plus, too for when I'm just walking around the office. Found one on AT&T's website but it's more like a wallet. Really, all I want is a smallish bumper case that can accomodate a lanyard.

I absolutely love my plus. I'm as girlie as they can be. It's not too big at all. The 6 is just too small imo. I used to have a Mophie on my 5s so the 6 is exactly the same size just lighter and thinner. Definitely prefer the Plus. Go big or go home.

I have a Space Gray 6+ and absolutely love it. Upgraded from a 5. I like the sleeker look and rounded edges and the size is not an issue at all. But, then I generally use my phone for texting, emails, social media, and web. I have integrated Bluetooth in my car and the rest of the time I toss in in my diaper bag. I LOVE IT!
