I recently bought a 27'' iMac and while I realize that I can hook up a PS3 to this machine, I would rather not drop $300 on the console.

Has anyone heard anything about Fallout 3 for Mac?

Such an amazing game. But no, no news on a Mac port.

I haven't tried it but it is rated Silver in Crossover games so you may have some luck playing it that way.

I have played FO3 GOTY on my MBP early 2008 2.6GHz via BootCamp and Win Vista. This was an enjoyable game so I am now on replay but with a different order of quests. I tried to play on a MBP i7 mid 2010 2.67 GHz with Bootcamp and Win 7 but there are too many bugs with this version of Windows. The PC players have the same problems so it has nothing to do with Mac software.

I doubt this game will ever be Mac native so consider BootCamp with Vista.

I hope, it will never make it to the Mac!

It has stolen me nights, days, months of my time, as this was/ is probably the most wonderful RPG ever created with a very unique feeling.
I loved STALKER, but hated the extremely ramped up level later in the game - Fallout 3 gave a bit of that grand feel, but probably even more freedom, to move on your own.

Fallout 3 was missing a bit more, once, you have ended the game.

Bootcamp or anything Windows is now wiped from my computers, as I am lacking HDD space on the laptops and nerves, to deal with the annoyances of Windows computing.
