any word on free mavericks upgrade with air purchase?

apple did this last year - promising first buyers of the updated mac line (june through aug) a free ML download once the operating system was ready (sept 2012, i believe)...

have the first purchasers of the air heard anything?

You'd know once they announce the pricing for Mavericks, which they haven't done today.
