i hit the little button that said "notify me" a long time ago.

still waiting to be notified.

of course i heard about the ipad's pre-order date from macrumors. wonder if apple is going to bother to notify us.

Well, I am not sure, if Apple want everyone to be able to buy at the same time. 4am EST is midnite in California. But we would be alsleep. Noon est, california would be 8am. So, maybe noon?

If the rumours about shortages are correct then you will be notified in time to try and pre-order only to find a million people have a already gone to apple.com and it's out of stock.
