Yup. Same here. Just posted similar thread few mins ago. On call with Apple. Let’s see what response I get.I was charged today for my 13th IUP payment and I will pickup my 8 on Friday. When I chatted with apple they said I need to call to be reimbursed unused days. I am curious what others are hearing from apple. Thanks in advance.

Yup pro rated works. I totally agree with that.Well i mean you have the phone now so paying for it seems like it makes sense. Why would you expect a refund for the time you've used it? Maybe prorated but I don't know if that's in the Upgrade Program terms.

But someone either Apple or Citizens should have an answer or mention something.
Earlier in the week Apple told me that the existing loan would be put on a hold for 30days once pre order is done. Hearing different info from everywhere.
If you stop financing small tech widgets which crash in value... you wont have these issues and more!
So I talked to Citizens One who told me I need to talk to Apple who told me I need to talk to Citizens One. At this point, I'm pretty much convinced that I'm out $36.50x2 for the iPhones I returned back to Apple.
I did email Tim Cook to express my displeasure with the iPhone Upgrade Program but am unsure if that will get me anywhere.
Apple actually supposed too or responsible for communicating an order to Citizens? Seems over the top. Citizens lending money to you and will collect monthly payments till PIF or until you turn in phone and Apple pays off your current loan. The problem is that Apple was supposed to put the current loan on hold while your new phone is in transit. However, they didn't put the current loans on hold until after they marked the new phones as shipped. Which for some was several days after Citizens One already processed their payment.
I just received a call from a member of the Apple Executive team after my email to Tim. She stated that any payments made within 30 days of an upgrade are automatically refunded on a pro-rated basis. She also said she would be addressing this with the specialists I talked to as well as Citizens One.
In addition, I shared feedback that this information should be communicated in the order confirmation emails from Apple. She said she would bring this up with the teams in charge of this process. She also said I would be receiving an email with her direct contact information in case I do not receive the expected refund.
I'm disappointed that I had to go to Tim and the executive team, but I am happy that this is getting addressed.
