Anybody found the Lightning to USB-C Cable for AirPods Max useful?

What advantage does it give?

Lightning to USB-C only have charging purpose. You can listen to music while your APM are charging, but it doesn’t make a wired audio experience, as you need the lightning to 3.5mm cable for that. I guess Apple give lightning to USB-C because more and more of its mac and iPad have a USB-C port

I don't have an APM with me anymore. Is it fully functional (music playing, sound cancellation) while being charged?

Yes, it works exactly the same way as when it’s wireless
