Anybody from Scandinavia ordered new MacBook Pro? What can I expect?

At least it's your Mac sitting in some airport for days instead of yourself :-\
I went to Verkkokauppa in Finland (Helsinki store) and picked on up. Still putting it through its paces.
I've been told by our hardware guy, that Apple has sent a message to our reseller, that the Macbook Pro has already been produced but is currently stuck in China. No information on when it will ship, because of the icelandic volcano.
It's quite fascinating so much the volcano has stopped in europe - everything is in chaos.

What about when you track the delivery?
It says 28-29 when searching the order, but when I press the tracking button I get 4th of May instead.

The last two times I bought macs they shipped from Amsterdam, by truck - so maybe I won't be delayed? Although last time was two years ago both times I ordered on the day of the release. I'm from Denmark...

I ordered a macbook for the government at home a couple of months ago and it was delivered via Amsterdam fast as a bullet.
By the way, this is something I recommend. Now she will not be interrested in my new toy, since she loves her own little white thing.

I ordered same date as you. Have the same shipping date and the same expected date for delivery. Under Antatt leveringsdato: 26 Apr, 2010 - 27 Apr, 2010 you should have a number. copy paste it in TNT.com package tracking as reference, and you should get a clue where it is.

I'm sorry the information was incorrect. The procedure is actually different depending on you log on to apple.com or apple.no Log on to apple.no/se pages. Find your order. Hit "vis bestillingsinfo", then "skriv ut faktura". At the bottom of the popup you will hopefully find a number under "delivery note".
