I ordered my 15" i5 on release day and it changed to shipped on the 17th.

After that no updates at all and it says deliver on 4th of May.

That is 17, yes 17, days after it's shippped.

    Any good explanations?

At least it's your Mac sitting in some airport for days instead of yourself :-\

I went to Verkkokauppa in Finland (Helsinki store) and picked on up. Still putting it through its paces.

I've been told by our hardware guy, that Apple has sent a message to our reseller, that the Macbook Pro has already been produced but is currently stuck in China. No information on when it will ship, because of the icelandic volcano.

It's quite fascinating so much the volcano has stopped in europe - everything is in chaos.

    Update: I'm from Denmark

What about when you track the delivery?

It says 28-29 when searching the order, but when I press the tracking button I get 4th of May instead.

Is it the same for you?

The last two times I bought macs they shipped from Amsterdam, by truck - so maybe I won't be delayed? Although last time was two years ago both times I ordered on the day of the release. I'm from Denmark...

    Advise!

I ordered a macbook for the government at home a couple of months ago and it was delivered via Amsterdam fast as a bullet.

By the way, this is something I recommend. Now she will not be interrested in my new toy, since she loves her own little white thing.

You have to see what's coming

Ordered on the 14th, and delivery date is 23-26th of April, hasn't changed since order.

This means that it will probably ship tomorrow, or maybe even today.

I ordered same date as you. Have the same shipping date and the same expected date for delivery. Under Antatt leveringsdato: 26 Apr, 2010 - 27 Apr, 2010 you should have a number. copy paste it in TNT.com package tracking as reference, and you should get a clue where it is.

    What number?

Could you please specify what they call that number on the apple site.

I've put all numbers I can find into the search on TNT and clicked the reference but no destination to be found.

Since it shipped three days ago it's strange

I'm sorry the information was incorrect. The procedure is actually different depending on you log on to apple.com or apple.no Log on to apple.no/se pages. Find your order. Hit "vis bestillingsinfo", then "skriv ut faktura". At the bottom of the popup you will hopefully find a number under "delivery note".

All Scandinavians seem to have perfect English. As well as charming and functional dispositions, good looks and the greatest welfare states in the world.

Can you tell I'm still sad about not winning a Fulbright to Denmark?

I can tell by your shipping status that you've ordered a base 13" MBP;)
