I'm a bit curious about this because the Plus-series phones have much bigger batteries than non-plus-series.

I've seen several iPhone 6 units where performance management has kicked in, but I wonder if anyone has had their 6 Plus do this? I'm asking about the 6 Plus because it's the oldest Plus-series phone; I have a 7 Plus and wonder if I'll get more longevity than a 7 would due to the larger battery.

For instance, I know iPads don't have performance management because their batteries are so massive it's unlikely power requirements will ever exceed what the battery can provide.

With everything being equal, except for battery capacity, the larger battery in the Plus iPhone will have a longer ultimate life span (get more load cycles) because it isn't being worked as hard. But a replacement battery is cheap and usually the original battery in any iPhone lasts a couple years.
