I recently got an iPad Pro and a day or two after I loaded an iCloud backup onto it HomeKit went out on half my bulbs. I had to rename all them in HomeKit because they wouldnt transfer from hue.
my scenes also basically all reset. None of them had the correct things in them so I lost about 49 scenes. I had to delete all them and start over.
The problem is I added about 15 scenes and now it’s saying I’ve reached my max amount of scenes. I thought 50 was the max? So there is some kind of ghost scenes still in my iCloud account? I don’t know what else to think it could be besides my old scene data is still in there somewhere.
Anybody else have something like this happen?
Most my bulbs are hue. I also have ikea stuff, Lutron, iHome and wemo.

In the Hue App look at settings-Bridge settings and see if the "clean up" option is what you are looking for? I seem to recall getting the same max scene pop up message and used that to fix everything. It did delete everything like the bridge was new. Just a thought?

I tried that but didn’t do anything. I found an app on the App Store called controller and it scanned my home data and they all popped up. Had to manually delete them in there and it’s back to being cleared. Weird apple doesn’t have a backup of your saved files in HomeKit easily found.
