The people who are interested in the 14 (non-Plus) are likely those who do not own a 13 as there is very little separating both phones. I, personally, would pay the difference and get a 14 Pro which would offer a fair technological leap over the standard model and justify the additional cost. I like to keep my phones for 2-3 years though so it would make sense to me as the Pro this year offers much more to the user than just a superior camera module and ProMotion.

What tech features does the 14 Pro have over the 14 standard ??

I know a couple people on XR and 11 who are looking forward to the 14 Plus. They just want something bigger, the camera is good enough.

Dynamic Island is the main feature along with other Pro features such as improved camera and ProMotion.
Oh, well I am not losing anything then - I don't use the phone for photos or video and never really cared for the dynamic island similar to my Macbook Pro's touch bar that I never use.

I am on a similar boat and have never considered any Pro model previously. I have never owned one either as I don’t care much for 120hz or the improved camera module. The Dynamic Island feature may be a gimmick but it’s enough of a difference to separate the 14 Pro from the regular to warrant consideration, in my opinion.

I'm not a phone nerd, I am a computer nerd. That said I have a iPhone XR w/6.1 screen. I usually buy a new phone every 4 years just because so I was going to get the 14 (non pro non max). Is it a big enough upgrade or should I just hold off another year. I really need some phone people help.
Thanks
