Anybody make the switch from black to white?

Me too!

I am on the fence. I like the uniformity of the black, but I would like to feel (and see) a change, so I will go from a 16Gb black to a 32Gb white. I hope it doesn't feel too girly.

Here in NYC, all the hipsters are carrying a white iPhone.
 
I've got a black 8GB 3G and I think I'm going white 16GB 3GS. I'm really excited on getting a new phone. Before I got an iphone, I had a new phone every 6 months. It's been an entire year pretty much since I bought a phone. I haven't even had this one switched out once yet.
 
I pre purchased a black but after seeing a white in person am kicking myself for not getting the white :(
 
I was thinking about going from the white to the black. I've got the white 3G right now but am tempted to go to black with the 3G S.

I genuinely think the white iPhone is cod ****.

Not trolling, just think it looks awful.

Same. And I think if you use it without a case it looks great.

I plan to do the same, going to be getting a 32gb white 3G S. :D

Yeah, but mine wants a white one too so I'll probably slap a pink case on hers. Barring that, I'll do like that one thread and somehow put the old Rainbow Apple on mine.
 
I had the 16GB black and sold it on Craigslist. I'm now going to get the 16GB (COKE) white b/c the lower (non S) 8gb model doesn't have white (which makes white more "elite") lol.

It's always good to change things up :)

Ha, I've been doing that for a year now. I got the black 3G, admittedly because I was thinking the white was for girls, etc. But every time I see a white one, I've regretted it.

Can't wait to get my white 3GS, hopefully tomorrow.
 
I have a 16gig white and may switch to black 32 today. I'm still on the fence. The one thing that no one has mentioned, you don't see the finger print marks on the white. When I first saw the black last year, it really showed all kinds of marks. For that reason alone I may stay white. Also, I had to replace my phone many times. Several times for cracks. But this last one has lasted the longest. I think apple has worked out the crack issue.

I'm up and ready to get in line! Hope I get one!
 
i've changed from an 8gb black to a 32gb white and very happy with the change...

i dont prefer either colour i dont think, i just wanted to change to the other colour, makes it feel newer (to me) x
