I think my next step is to jailbreak my iPad. I took away all my stock exchanges so I could actually start making my town look legit, so I'm making like nothing now. I just don't want to jailbreak and reload mytown on my iPad and have it be set back to where my iPhone town is.😕

Now I am on my way to getting mt Fuji and I am so excited! Unfortunately the price went up again so I still have about 350 bucks to go! Thank you for giving me some hope 🙂
I did a few rounds so hopefully you should be able to get it now. Also tried to do some coins so that you can get some land but I could only find one business I could do that for be cause of location.

Another reason for this could be that I am actually located in Australia but have my town set at NY. But when I am franchising sometimes I have to change my location so I can franchise for the the most amount of bucks and do change my location back to Australia during this time. You might have caught me at this time? Sorry !!!

I go by Mel. You get 50 bucks if someone franchises you on a business that sells for over 1000 bucks. Any less you get less. I hope you got more than 1 lot of 50 bucks from me. I am pretty sure I did a few ?

1000 bucks??? That's ridiculous! I didn't realize it was only 5% of the actual price! I guess thats what the 5% means when it said my business has been franchised, I feel kind of silly now. I have noticed sometimes with this game that it might take a while for me to receive anything for some reason so I will give it some time! I have received a total of 100 bucks from your franchises so far and seven random bucks from leveling and doing tasks. Before I was really interested in this game I spent all the money I got from Facebook and twitter and such and my previous levels on trees I unintentionally bought and a house I thought looked cool, and a couple instant land plowings. Otherwise I would probably have about 50 or so more. But now I am saving up to get something nice and I greatly appreciate everything you have done for me! Looks like I need to consider getting popular business as opposed to local businesses I have actually heard of XD

You can accumulate coins quite easily by having heaps of wonders of one kind for example the Stock exchange and changing all the skins of your businesses to offices. Or if you prefer another wonder just change the skins to that kind of business. You can change the skins later to make it fancy after you have accumulated coins.
Bucks are more hard to come by. And franchising is the best and quickest way. So, yes, getting good businesses is the way to go so that when people franchise you you get the 50 bucks for each franchise. From memory I think there is only one business that does that for you (but I could be mistaken).

Also the 5% is because I dont keep the business, I franchise, build and then sell. I think thats what all the RH do. Otherwise we won't have room to franchise.

Thanks for the advice if am such a noob XD I just recently figured that out if you turn off wifi it's the only one that works for me to get popular businesses. Debating on selling one or two of my others just to buy another since I need more room for more population. I just bought the playbunny mansion and the stock exchange one wonders so hopefully that will help me make some more coins! If you have extra bucks it is worth getting the pyramid - it builds wonders instantly. This way if you buy heaps of stock exchanges you don't have to wait the hours till it builds.

Can I pl suggest that people use the signature facility and add both their ID AND their town name.
I have so many people added as friends it is easier to search names to franchise after adding otherwise I have to go into each town and check the ID to see if I have you on there. I am sure Splats will agree?

Do me a favor, upgrade the business and see if the popularity takes? If that doesn't work try it a time or two more, depending on bucks. Let me know how many bucks you use and I will repay back in franchises.

Okie dokie! Since my business was such a low level I just did 15 3 minute jobs and checked into it so it would go faster and once I was done my popularity seemed to skyrocket so I didnt spend anything and it has 17,380 population now or something like that.
On that note thank you so so much for franchising me, I really appreciate it! With your franchises and Mel's franchises I have 206 bucks! (one less than 207 because I bought the hard rock cafe and instantly built it but leveled up once) I can't believe I am about half way to mt Fuji! Also can't believe how expensive mt Fuji is... It should have stayed sale price longer!

I cant get franchised businesses to regain their popularity! I franchised some businesses (weebo store and Ritz) from booyahtopia(1 buck) when in airplane mode, but now i cant get them to get the popularity back. 🙁 they are level 3 and 4 in my town (keys town) but still popularity 10 instead of 30.000 something?! What do i do wrong? Theyve gone from 1 to 10 in one day....should i just be more patient?
And if anyone could franchise from me i would be forever in debt.... Will go in and give guifts and do whatever i can in return.nTrying to get the fuji-thing. Thanx to melzzzy for franchising from med yesterday...got 50 bucks from it. 🙂
