If so how does it run? My 2010 MBA (13"/4GB RAM/1.8) has become extremely slow. I want to do a clean install of macOS and hopefully inject some new life into it. Just wondering how macOS Sierra is running on the 2010 machines for folks that have already tried this?

It's in beta. I would assume the machine would probably run the same but possibly slightly worse/better if you did an upgrade install of Sierra or the Sierra Beta. Have you maybe tried a clean install to bring new life to the machine? Clean install without all the junk that probably came to be after over 5 years of use.

I am running the beta on a 2011 MBA and it works fine - the wifi takes a little bit longer to connect but for the most part it's pretty stable

El Cap is snappy on my 2010. I would not expect Sierra to change that, but I guess time will tell...I'm not interested in beta-testing it at the present time. If others have been having performance issues on OS X releases newer than Mavericks, perhaps they just need to do a clean install?
